Role Description TReporting to the Executive Director, the Marketing & Communications Manager will be responsible for leading the strategic planning, development, and execution of integrated marketing, communications, public engagement, and fundraising initiatives that enhance organizational visibility, support strategic objectives, and strengthen community and donor engagement. Base Salary Range: $60,000 – $65,000 Join a mission-driven organization making a difference every day Comprehensive benefits What You’ll Be Responsible For: Developing and executing integrated marketing and communications strategies to support organizational goals. Strong understanding of SEO best practices, website analytics, and digital performance optimization. Managing digital channels, including website content, social media, email campaigns, and online engagement initiatives. Creating compelling marketing materials, campaigns, and storytelling content to increase awareness and engagement. Leading brand consistency across all communications, platforms, and public-facing materials. Supporting fundraising, donor engagement, community outreach, and promotional events through targeted communications. Building and maintaining relationships with media, community partners, sponsors, and stakeholders. Writing and distributing media releases, newsletters, public communications, and organizational updates. Monitoring marketing performance, analyzing metrics, and recommending strategies to improve reach and engagement. Supervising and supporting team members while establishing departmental priorities and goals. The Ideal Candidate: Post-secondary education in marketing, communications, public relations, event management, nonprofit management, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 2–5+ years of progressive marketing, communications and event development experience. Strong experience managing social media, digital marketing campaigns, and website content. Excellent writing, storytelling, presentation, and relationship-building skills. Strong understanding of marketing strategy, analytics, email marketing, and audience engagement. Experience with graphic design tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms. Experience with CRM systems, marketing automation tools, Google Analytics, and digital advertising platforms. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently and collaboratively. Complimentary Experience: Nonprofit or community-based organization experience. Experience supporting fundraising campaigns and events, donor communications, or stewardship initiatives. Experience with media relations, public relations, and community outreach. Google Analytics, Google Ads, or Meta digital marketing certifications. Experience working within a mission-driven environment.
