Windsor Regional Hospital is one of the largest hospitals in the Province of Ontario, serving a population of 400,000 people in Windsor and Essex County. It is the regional provider of advanced care in areas that include Complex Trauma, Renal Dialysis, Cardiac Care, Stroke and Neurosurgery, Intensive Care, Acute Mental Health, Family Birthing Centre, Neonatal Intensive Care, Paediatric Services, Regional Cancer services and a broad range of medical and surgical services required to support these specialized areas. Through a major initiative involving the two hospitals in Windsor, a realignment of programs and services was achieved on October 1, 2013, when Windsor Regional Hospital became responsible for the governance, management and operations of the Ouellette Campus (previously Hotel-Dieu Grace Hospital along with continuing its responsibility for the Metropolitan Campus. The ultimate vision is to design and construct a new state-of-the-art acute hospital healthcare facility serving the needs of Windsor-Essex for generations to come. Providing Acute Care Services with 650 plus beds and an operating budget of half of a billion dollars, Windsor Regional Hospital is one of the largest community based non-academic hospitals in the Province of Ontario.

Ensure patient-focused service, safety, cleanliness, IPAC compliance, effective patient flow, and departmental standards while coaching staff and resolving operational and patient satisfaction issues.

Prepare wood, masonry, drywall, plaster, concrete, synthetic, stucco, and metal surfaces, then apply paint, coatings, waterproofing, fireproofing, varnish, wall coverings, and specialty finishes. Follow hospital occupational health and safety standards and help maintain a safe work environment.

Assist with technical and clerical activities in the Pharmacy Services Department under a pharmacist’s supervision and direction. Deliver care consistent with hospital values and professional standards, and help promote a safe work environment.

Lead the planning and delivery of ICAT implementations for the new hospital campus, coordinating technology requirements, procurement, installation, and integration with construction and operational plans. Prepare for and assist with autopsies and surgical pathology examinations, including dissecting, examining, documenting, and selecting specimens for diagnostic procedures and research. Oversee grossing and morgue operations, maintain facilities and procedures, and prepare quality assurance and workload reports.

The coordinator is responsible for improving patient throughput and length of stay within the Emergency Department while managing P4R indicators. They collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate admission avoidance and support clinical quality projects.

The Radiological Technologist performs a variety of technical procedures using ionizing radiation for radiological diagnosis. They are responsible for applying current theory and research to deliver care consistent with hospital standards and safety regulations.
