What the role is all about: WinSport’s Lift Operations team is a vital component of the day-to-day operations of our Ski Hill. As a Lift Operator you strive to approach your work to align with our 6 values which are at the core of who we are and what we do at WinSport. * Safety * Integrity * Belonging * Collaboration * Inspiration * Sustainability What you will be doing: * Provide a safe, consistent, and enjoyable experience to all our guests * Assist and educate guests with safe loading and riding of all lifts and carpets * Proactively engage with guests using the lifts and around the park * Monitor RFID ticketing system and ensure all guests using the lift have a valid ticket or pass * Maintain all operational aspects of lifts, including ramps, chairs, mazes, tools, signs, etc. * Provide a groomed and litter-free environment to guests * Other duties as assigned What you bring: * Excellent communication and customer service/experience skills * Positive attitude and supportive team member * Ability to maintain composure and react quickly and thoughtfully under pressure or emergencies * Flexible schedule to meet operational needs; variety of shifts available * Previous experience is considered an asset You will be: * Spending extended hours outdoors in adverse weather conditions * Working extended hours standing * Challenged with a fast paced environment – expected to monitor up to 12 different people every 9 seconds diligently * Lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling 10 – 30 pounds Employment Dates & Times * Seasonal position that will start early November and conclude April (weather dependent) * Full-time and part-time hours available. * Weekend availability is required. * Must be able to work a minimum of 2 shifts per week. * Must be available for training dates (planned November 14 & 15, 2026). * Must be available over the holiday season (December 20, 2026 - January 3, 2027) * Compensation for this position is $16/hour.
