What’s in it for you? * Comprehensive benefits with premiums fully paid for by the company for the “Core” package starting the first day of employment. * Career development and training opportunities * Life insurance, disability and wellness program * Retirement savings programs including RRSP and DC pension with up to 5.25% employer contribution * Paid vacation and sick time and day off on your birthday! * Employee discounts on top brands of plumbing and HVAC/R products * Education reimbursement for employees * Employee referral program * Safety shoe reimbursement * Commission available in addition to base salary What you will do: * Provide customers with a professional, approachable and informative service on all products (plumbing and lighting) * Identify customer needs & wants and provide a consultative/solution based service * Collaborate on design planning with creative & tailored recommendations (contractors and customers) * Develop quotations, process sales orders, manage deliveries and returns * Respond to all customer inquiries and action new opportunities * Resolve all concerns & issues What you will bring: * Previous retail sales experience required * A flair for design or design background is preferred * High level of commitment to exceptional customer service * Excellent problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills * Requires a self-motivated team player capable of managing multiple priorities in a rapidly changing environment * Professional demeanor and presentation * Computer proficiency an asset * Ability to work both individually and in a team environment * Knowledge of the plumbing or lighting industry an asset * Post-Secondary experience in Business or a related program preferred This is an 18 Months maternity leave contract. Provide professional consultative service to customers regarding plumbing and lighting products to identify needs and provide tailored design recommendations. Manage the sales process including developing quotations, processing orders, and resolving customer concerns.

Requires previous retail sales experience and a high commitment to exceptional customer service. A background in design or post-secondary education in business is preferred, along with knowledge of the plumbing or lighting industry.
