Lead Structural Engineer

The Role Wood currently has an exciting opportunity for a Lead Structural Engineer. Reporting the Manager, Civil/Structural, this position is located in our Saskatoon, Saskatchewan office. In this position, you will be part of the structural engineering group delivering projects in the Minerals & Metals industry. This includes structural steel and reinforced concrete superstructures for buildings, building and equipment foundations, substation structures / foundations, pipe racks, site works and various other miscellaneous structures. The Lead Structural Engineer will deliver structural engineering projects within the Minerals & Metals industry, focusing on steel and concrete superstructures. This role involves managing project phases from concept studies to large-scale EPCM execution while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Candidates must hold an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering and be registered or eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng) in Saskatchewan. A minimum of 10 years of experience in mining or heavy industrial projects is preferred, along with thorough knowledge of structural design codes.
