Wood is recruiting for an Offshore Vessel Operator – Adhoc (Casual /Temporary) to join its Operations team focusing on the oil and gas petrochemical industry. This opportunity is offshore Newfoundland and Labrador, working on an as needed, call-out basis. The Role Location: Offshore Newfoundland and Labrador Site / Office based: Terra Nova FPSO Hours of work: 12 hours per day Rotation / work pattern: Call out, as needed Required: Site-specific medical, drug and alcohol testing Unionized position: Rates follow the Collective Bargaining Agreement You will be working in confined spaces and/or at heights, as well as noisy conditions. Work may be indoors or outdoors, and at extreme temperatures. Requirements

Requires 3-5 years of petrochemical industry experience and various marine certifications including STCW and Bridge Watch. Candidates must pass site-specific medical and drug tests and be physically capable of heavy lifting and climbing.
