Wood is recruiting for an Offshore Vessel Operator – Adhoc (Casual /Temporary) to join its Operations team focusing on the oil and gas petrochemical industry. This opportunity is offshore Newfoundland and Labrador, working on an as needed, call-out basis. The Role Location: Offshore Newfoundland and Labrador Site / Office based: Terra Nova FPSO Hours of work: 12 hours per day Rotation / work pattern: Call out, as needed Required: Site-specific medical, drug and alcohol testing Unionized position: Rates follow the Collective Bargaining Agreement You will be working in confined spaces and/or at heights, as well as noisy conditions. Work may be indoors or outdoors, and at extreme temperatures. Operate vessels and handle marine cargo on the Terra Nova FPSO within the oil and gas petrochemical industry. Perform physical labor in extreme conditions, including working at heights and in confined spaces on a call-out basis.

Requires 3-5 years of petrochemical industry experience and various marine certifications including STCW and Bridge Watch. Candidates must pass site-specific medical and drug tests and be physically capable of heavy lifting and climbing.
