Safety Equipment Sales Associate (Full-time)

Role: Retail Sales Associate/Mask Fit Tester Employment: Full-time (M-F, 8am-4pm) Location: North York, ON Salary: $41,600 to start + commission Worksite is looking for a safety-minded professional who is resourceful, self-motivated and highly organized to support our retail customers in their safety equipment needs. This full-time sales role will be based out of our new North York Training Centre and is for Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm shifts. The Retail Sales Associate will also conduct scheduled qualitative mask fit tests as needed. This is an in-store sales role and remote-based work is not available. The successful candidate will be responsible for: Supporting customers in finding the appropriate worksite safety equipment for their needs Conducting equipment sales transactions (cashless) Store opening and closing tasks Monitoring inventory of training centre materials and supplies Resolving customer questions about Worksite training and services Providing qualitative mask fit testing to individuals as booked online Educating mask fit customers on mask use best practices Other duties as required to support the location and client services teams To best support our customers, we are seeking candidates that have the following qualifications and experience: 2+ years experience in customer service and sales in a retail environment Experience in an occupational health and safety role preferred Education in medical administration or occupational health and safety preferred Experience in delivering qualitative mask fit testing is considered an asset Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced and independent setting Working knowledge of and experience using Google Drive and Gmail Proficiency with Square use or other cashless POS system is considered an asset Ability to prioritize conflicting priorities and manage multiple deadlines Excellent organization and communication skills Worksite Offers: Competitive salary rate plus sales-based commission (1-4%) 3 weeks paid vacation per calendar year Fully company-funded health benefits package including $2000 in annual spending allowances Collaborative and exciting work environment Ongoing opportunities for learning Working on an awesome team with a great company culture! The associate will support customers in selecting safety equipment and handle cashless sales transactions. Additionally, they will perform qualitative mask fit tests and manage store opening, closing, and inventory tasks.

Candidates need 2+ years of retail customer service and sales experience, with a preference for backgrounds in occupational health and safety. Proficiency in Google Workspace and experience with POS systems are highly valued.
