Job Description Wrapex Industrial Services Inc. is currently seeking Journeyman and Apprentice Insulators for full-time, long-term work in the Rocky Mountain House Region. Must be Local to the Rocky Mountain House area (within 100KM). Responsibilities and Duties Candidates must have the ability to apply insulation and cladding materials to heating and cooling systems, piping, pipelines, equipment, pressure vessels, and other structures to prevent or reduce the passage of heat, cold, sound, or fire. Duties may include: Read and interpret drawings and specifications to determine insulation requirements and select appropriate insulation materials Measure and cut insulation materials to required dimensions using hand and power tools Apply and secure insulation using appropriate application and installation methods Fit insulation around piping, equipment, obstructions, and other structures Install vapour barriers and weatherproofing systems as required Fabricate and install metal cladding as required Remove and replace existing insulation as required Work safely at heights and in confined spaces when required Maintain a clean and safe work area Follow all company, client, and site-specific safety requirements Qualifications and Requirements Candidates must possess valid safety tickets as required for the worksite, which may include: CSTS H2S Alive Fall Protection Elevated Work Platform (EWP) (Not mandatory but an asset) WHMIS 2015 Standard First Aid CSO Candidates must also: Have their own required hand tools and CSA-approved steel-toed safety boots Be able to work with a variety of industrial insulation materials Be physically capable of performing the requirements of the position, including handling heavy materials and equipment Be able to work in physically demanding environments Be able to work outdoors, at heights, in confined spaces, and in dusty or industrial environments Be self-motivated and able to work effectively as part of a crew Work cooperatively with other teams and trades Be able to manage multiple tasks and meet project requirements Follow established safety procedures and support a safety-focused work environment A valid Alberta Apprenticeship Blue Book is an asset for Apprentices.
