This role can be based in one of WSP's major offices in Nova Scotia or New Brunswick. Your Impact You will leverage your GIS expertise to deliver innovative geospatial solutions that support complex projects across multiple industries: Collaborate with scientists, engineers, and environmental consultants to develop GIS solutions that support project delivery. Create, manage, and maintain geospatial datasets from digital and analogue sources using industry-leading GIS platforms. Produce high-quality maps, figures, visualizations, and presentation materials that communicate complex information effectively. Develop and maintain web-based GIS applications and interactive mapping solutions using ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Enterprise. Support enterprise geospatial database creation, management, and optimization. Implement quality assurance and quality control practices that align with global standards and best practices. Contribute to GIS workflow improvements, automation initiatives, and innovative spatial solutions. Share knowledge, mentor colleagues, and continuously advance your technical expertise while supporting team success. The Skills That Set You Apart Advanced Diploma in GIS or an equivalent combination of GIS experience and post-secondary education. 3 to 5 years of experience working with Geographic Information Systems, particularly ESRI technologies including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Online, Portal, and Web Applications. Strong understanding of GIS and CAD data formats, data conversion processes, and geospatial data management. Demonstrated cartographic expertise with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively. Experience working within multidisciplinary project teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Strong analytical, organizational, verbal, written, and graphical communication skills. Experience with enterprise GIS solutions, geospatial databases, QA/QC programs, mobile data collection, spatial analysis, and workflow automation is considered an asset.
