As part of our Construction Services, Materials Engineering and Laboratory Group, you'll work alongside engineering specialists, professionals, and technical staff to deliver accurate materials testing and help expand WSP's service offering across the province. Your work will provide trusted data that supports safe, durable, and high-quality infrastructure. Your Impact Deliver laboratory testing on soils, aggregates, concrete, and other construction materials in accordance with recognized industry standards. Produce accurate, concise test records and enter results efficiently to support clear and reliable final reports. Contribute to Canadian Council of Independent Laboratories certification activities and timely reporting of test results. Maintain calibrated equipment, orderly work areas, and safe material-handling practices that support a dependable laboratory environment. Strengthen the laboratory quality control program by supporting proficiency testing and internal and external audits. Collaborate with the Lab Lead to identify, investigate, document, and communicate non-conformances. The Skills That Set You Apart Successful completion of high school or post-secondary technical education in civil engineering, civil engineering technology, or a related discipline. Experience in a soils or construction materials laboratory is preferred but not required. Willingness and ability to obtain Canadian Council of Independent Laboratories Type C certification and learn laboratory certification, calibration, and proficiency-testing processes. Accurate and efficient Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, with the ability to enter, interpret, and report technical data. Ability to organize and coordinate multiple tests and assignments while maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced laboratory environment. Practical understanding of workplace health and safety procedures and a consistent commitment to safe laboratory and material-handling practices. Why Choose WSP? Requirements

Applicants must have completed high school or post-secondary technical education in civil engineering, civil engineering technology, or a related discipline; laboratory experience is preferred but not required. Candidates should have accurate Microsoft Office skills, strong organization and data-handling abilities, a commitment to safety, and willingness to obtain Canadian Council of Independent Laboratories Type C certification.
