As a Co-op Student, Electrical Engineering, you'll work alongside experienced engineers on projects that shape communities, improve infrastructure, and support sustainable development. YOUR IMPACT * Support electrical engineering teams in the design and delivery of infrastructure, transportation, buildings, industrial, and energy projects. * Assist with preparing engineering calculations, technical reports, specifications, drawings, and project documentation. * Contribute to electrical system design activities, including power distribution, lighting, controls, and related building or infrastructure systems. * Participate in site visits, inspections, and field investigations to gather data and support project execution. * Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative and practical engineering solutions. * Apply engineering principles and industry standards to solve technical challenges and support project objectives. * Help maintain project schedules, document control processes, and quality assurance requirements. * Learn from experienced professionals while building technical, project management, and consulting skills. THE SKILLS THAT SET YOU APART * Currently enrolled in an accredited Electrical Engineering degree program and returning to studies following the work term. * Strong understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals, including circuit analysis, power systems, or building electrical systems. * Familiarity with engineering software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP, SKM, EasyPower, or similar tools is considered an asset. * Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and engineering standards. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. * Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate in team environments. * Demonstrated initiative, curiosity, and a desire to learn in a consulting engineering setting. * Ability and willingness to travel to project sites as required and comply with all health, safety, and environmental requirements.
