In this role, you will contribute to complex infrastructure, transportation, and land development projects across Western Canada while collaborating with industry-leading specialists. Your Impact Support medium to large-scale geotechnical investigation programs across British Columbia and Western Canada. Conduct field investigations and provide construction support services, including travel to remote project locations when required. Assist in managing geotechnical aspects of construction projects through technical reviews, compliance monitoring, and cost awareness. Interpret subsurface conditions and translate investigation findings into practical engineering recommendations. Perform geotechnical analyses and design using industry-recognized methodologies and software. Prepare clear, accurate, and high-quality technical reports and engineering deliverables. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate geotechnical solutions into transportation, infrastructure, and land development projects. Contribute to innovative and sustainable engineering solutions that create lasting value for clients and communities. The Skills That Set You Apart Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geology, or Engineering Geology. 2 to 5 years of progressive geotechnical engineering or engineering geology experience, preferably within a consulting environment. Experience planning and executing geotechnical site investigations and supporting construction projects. Proficiency with geotechnical software such as Slide/SlopeW, Settle3, CLiq, CPeT-IT, or equivalent analytical tools. Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite and technical reporting standards. Registration as an Engineer-in-Training (E.I.T.) or Geoscientist-in-Training (G.I.T.) in British Columbia, or the ability to obtain registration within a reasonable timeframe. Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate geotechnical data and develop practical engineering solutions. Requirements
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or geology field and possess 2 to 7 years of progressive experience. Proficiency in geotechnical software and registration as an E.I.T. or G.I.T. in British Columbia is required.
