What makes up the day of a Regional Key Account Manager: This position reports directly to the Director of Key Accounts Key Accounts are defined as multiple location customers within the Region covering all divisions across Western Canada (Region 4). They are responsible for the Business Development of key accounts within the Region and participate in strategic planning to identify potential alongside the Director of Key Accounts and RSD They are responsible for providing and promoting Wurth Canada's business, product, systems, and solutions offerings to the assigned customer base including offering systems and solutions support within the region as identified. They are responsible for negotiating and implementing customer contracts and partner agreements in collaboration with NKAM, RSD, and KAM Back Office as well as supporting ongoing relationship development through customer reviews. They work in collaboration with NKAM and KAM back office where applicable and required They work in collaboration with all sales teams within their region as required, including DSM and Sales Reps to identify potential business growth opportunities (including meetings, ride-alongs etc.) They meet or exceed agreed Sales growth targets, delivering revenue and profit within the assigned account/prospect base They are responsible for developing and maintaining a business pipeline, reporting, and file maintenance as well as reviewing these pieces regularly with the Director of Key Accounts They are expected to attend Regional/District/NKAM sales meetings as requested/required They are responsible for maintaining business and trusted relationships with Key Customers as well as providing and reviewing key figures as required (minimum quarterly meetings recommended) Travel is required for meetings within the region, customer/prospect visits, trade shows, training, presentations etc. They act as a lead contact/coordinator for trade shows pertaining to Key Customers within the Region What You Bring To The Team Post-secondary degree or diploma in Business or a related subject. Innovative mindset and thorough understanding of our market practices for acquiring regional accounts. A high level of alignment with the company’s Corporate Values such as collaboration, integrity, respect, and achievement. Strong communication, listening, and presentation skills. Must have a demonstrated track record of business development, strong negotiation ability, and the ability to foster Key Account relationships with customers. Detail-oriented with a strong analytical ability to work with reports and sales performance metrics Have a creative and innovative approach to problem-solving, utilizing our systems, programs, and developing a partnership strategy Experience selling Wurth Canada’s Systems and Solutions including but not limited to e-shop, ORSY Mobile, ORSY Connect, and Vending. Be a Self- motivated individual who has a passion for growing sales success and winning business. Ability to travel throughout the region with a minimum of two weeks per month: Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia (roughly 60% of the time). A valid driver's license and the ability to travel approximately 60% of the time across Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, and British Columbia are required.
