Who We Are X Movement delivers engaging physical and mental wellness programs in K-12 schools, childcare centers, and camps across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). Our programs blend fitness-based movement (bodyweight exercises, agility drills, strength-based play, dance) with social-emotional learning and mental health awareness — high-energy fitness meets confidence-building. Who You Are You bring big energy, enthusiasm, and a genuine love of working with kids. You're passionate about your own health and wellness and want to pass that passion on. You're comfortable leading groups, motivating a room, and making fitness fun. No personal training certification required — just the confidence to move and the ability to get kids moving with you. Required Skills & Experience ✅ HIGH energy, every session, every time ✅ Ability to lead high-energy, fitness-based sessions (bodyweight movement, active play, agility drills, dance) ✅ Driver's license & reliable transportation (car share program available) ✅ Comfortable engaging large groups of children in a structured, exciting way ✅ Strong communication & public speaking — confident, clear, engaging ✅ Professionalism & reliability — punctuality and organization matter as much as energy ✅ Availability Tuesday–Thursday core hours (Mon/Fri an asset and prioritized); some evening work, no weekends ✅ Vulnerable Sector Check ✅ Commitment to self-development, mental health, fitness, and wellness Assets ✨ Experience with neurodiverse children or special education ✨ Bilingual (French) ✨ Background in education, childcare, or youth coaching ✨ Performance, dance, or acting experience ✨ Group fitness or coaching experience Job Details 📌 Part-time contract, with potential for more based on performance 📌 Pay: $18.50–$22.50/hr to start, based on skill and experience, plus travel incentives 📌 In-person across GTA schools & childcare centers — locations change weekly 📌 Vulnerable Sector Check required 📌 Applications open now — training camp runs through the end of summer with program kickoff mid-to-late September Full training provided.
