In This Role, You’ll Be Building and maintaining high-performance WordPress websites from the ground up Converting design mockups (from Figma or Adobe XD) into functional, pixel-perfect web pages Customizing themes and plugins to meet specific project requirements without sacrificing site integrity Managing site migrations, backups, and ongoing technical maintenance Collaborating with the design team to ensure technical feasibility and optimal user experience Qualitications. We’d Like To Talk To You If You have 5+ years of web development, specifically focused on WordPress You’re based in the Ottawa region (this position is in-office only!) You have postsecondary education in web development or relevant industry experience You’re proficient in PHP, MySQL and Git, and have experience with page builders like Elementor and Gutenberg You have a solid understanding of SEO best practices and web accessibility (WCAG) standards Agency experience and bilingualism are assets Let's chat. What you’ll do

Requirements

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of web development experience focused on WordPress and is based in the Ottawa region. A postsecondary education in web development or relevant industry experience is required, along with proficiency in PHP, MySQL, and Git.
