Assess potential institutional, business or individual client markets Calculate premiums Establish client insurance coverage Establish method of payment Identify potential markets Ensure appropriate forms, medical examinations and other policy requirements are completed Monitor insurance claims and respond to clients' enquiries Provide customer service Provide information concerning group and individual insurance packages, the range of risk coverage, benefits paid and other policy features Sell automobile, fire, health, life, property, marine, aircraft and other types of insurance Respond to requests for help and information from Website visitors and Website designers Lead and co-ordinate multidisciplinary teams to develop Website graphics, content, capacity and interactivity Develop and implement marketing strategies ​Conduct online marketing, E-commerce and Website promotions Requirements Must have a Bachelor’s degree in any field. Must have 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the same or a related field. Must have Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario (RIBO) license. Must be bondable and able to successfully pass a driving record check (abstract), credit check, and criminal record check. Must be willing to work in an office building setup. Must be willing to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment and under pressure, with strong attention to detail, and be able to perform work involving sitting as well as a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. Must demonstrate strong personal suitability including client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, sound judgment, strong organizational skills, reliability, and the ability to work as a team player. Must be able to communicate in English. Must have access to own tools and equipment, including a computer, printer, internet access, and a cellular phone. Must have access to a personal vehicle and a valid driver’s license. Willingness to travel is required.
