A career at Ya YA Foods will offer you the opportunity to… * Build a career, not just have a job * Work in a dynamic and high-growth company with very skilled professionals * Become part of a teamwork focused culture * Be a part of an organization that supports your future growth path Reports to: Sanitation Manager Responsibilities: * Cleaning and disinfecting allcommon areas(lunchroom and washroom), production areas, warehouses, exteriorpremisesand labs. * Sweep and mop the floors ondailybasis. * Empty all trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste inappropriate receptacles. * Refill soap and hand towels. * Be able to work at heights to clean. * Use safety signs to prevent incidents and accidents (e.g., wet floor signs). * Restock cleaning supplies and keep the team leader updated about inventory and maintenance issues. * Report on potential issuestomanagement. * Understand the Standard Operating Procedures and inspection regulations. * Read chemical labels or Materials Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and properly handle chemicals. * Understand labels, packages, and basic measurements. * Complete forms andmaintaincleaning records. * Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to address any cleaning-related concerns or issues. * Implement all GMP and HACCP procedures that relate to cleanliness, foodsafetyand pest control with the facility. * Observe all safety rules and promote a safe working environment with team members. * Maintain strict Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). * Compliance with all rules and policiesregardingHealth & Safety, occupational safety, environmental safety, food safety, legal regulations, company requirements, etc. * Compliance with the Company's Integrated Management Systems which include, butisnot limited to, Production, Quality, Food Safety and GMP. * Other duties as assigned. Profile: * High school diploma or GED certificate. * PossessingScissorlift and forklift licenseisan added advantage. * Good understanding of MSDS and WHMIS. * Create andmaintainan efficient, hygienic, and positive working environment. * Skill in organization, time management, prioritization, and the ability to meet deadlines for multiple tasks. * Commitment to continuous improvement and quality of support and service. * Self-starter and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. * Able to stand for an extendedperiod of time. * Good interpersonal and communication skills to interact with all levels of management. * Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is an asset. * Team player and able to work with minimal supervision. * NB: Successful candidates willbe requiredto provide photo ID, banking details, a valid SIN number, and (if applicable) a valid work permit. The Sanitation Cleaner is responsible for cleaning and disinfecting production areas, warehouses, and common facilities while adhering to strict food safety and GMP standards. They must also manage cleaning supplies, handle chemicals safely, and maintain accurate cleaning records.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and a good understanding of MSDS and WHMIS protocols. Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is considered an asset, along with the ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts.
