Job summary

Description Under the authority of the YKDFN Government Chiefs and Council and reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Director is directly responsible for the effective and efficient management of all aspects of public works and infrastructure for YKDFN. This includes, but is not limited to, infrastructure planning and development, financial and policy development and implementation, and community projects. This position is located in the community of Dettah, Monday to Friday. Typically, The Above Qualifications Would Be Attained By A degree in Engineering/Public Works or related degree and 2 years’ management experience; or a related diploma and 4 years’ management experience; or Equivalent combination of 5 years’ work experience in a senior management position with relevant training and education will be considered. Project Management Certification is preferred, but not mandatory. Valid Class ‘5’ Driver’s License and own personal vehicle. A detailed Job Description for this position is available upon request.
