Job Title: AI & Cloud Resiliency Architect Location: Scarborough, ON, Canada - Hybrid Job Summary We are seeking an experienced AI & Cloud Resiliency Architect to design scalable, highly available, fault-tolerant, and resilient cloud and AI solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AWS Cloud Architecture, Generative AI, Agentic AI, distributed systems, and resiliency engineering, preferably within banking or other regulated industries. Key Responsibilities Design resilient cloud, application, and distributed system architectures using AWS. Establish enterprise-wide resiliency standards, reference architectures, design patterns, and governance guardrails. Identify and mitigate single points of failure, system dependencies, scalability bottlenecks, and cascading failures. Design resilient Generative AI, Agentic AI, multi-agent, RAG, LLM, and MCP integrations. Implement failure-handling mechanisms, including retries, circuit breakers, fallbacks, graceful degradation, and failure isolation. Architect event-driven and serverless solutions using AWS Lambda, SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, and Amazon Bedrock. Define high-availability, disaster recovery, RTO/RPO, observability, and resilience-testing strategies. Collaborate with Development, Cloud Engineering, SRE, Security, and Operations teams to ensure production readiness. Required Qualifications Strong experience in application, system, and AWS cloud architecture. Expertise in distributed systems, APIs, microservices, and event-driven/serverless architectures. Hands-on experience with Generative AI, Agentic AI, LLMs, RAG, MCP, AI agents, and Amazon Bedrock or similar platforms. Strong knowledge of resiliency engineering, fault tolerance, high availability, disaster recovery, and observability. Experience developing enterprise architecture standards and governance frameworks. Banking, financial services, or other regulated-industry experience. Knowledge of AI governance, cloud security, technology risk management, SRE, and chaos engineering.
