Position Name – Guidewire Solution Architect Type of hiring – Fulltime/Subcon Location – Markham, ON (Remote work may be considered) Salary – CAD $180-240K PA Rates – CAD $140-160/hr Job Description: Experience: 15 to 20 Years We are seeking a seasoned Guidewire Architect to define and deliver enterprise-grade architecture solutions that span underwriting, policy, billing, claims, and commercial insurance workflows. In this role, you will: Define end to end solution architecture for Guidewire implementations, upgrades, cloud migrations, and integrations. Lead architecture discussions with client stakeholders and provide strategic technology direction. Design Guidewire applications leveraging best practices, extensibility frameworks, and configuration standards. Architect integrations with third party systems using REST, SOAP APIs, messaging, and middleware platforms. Review technical designs, code, performance optimization approaches, and deployment strategies. Collaborate with business teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions. Drive Guidewire Cloud adoption, modernization, and digital transformation initiatives. Ensure adherence to enterprise security, compliance, and architecture governance standards. Mentor developers, leads, and architects across Guidewire programs. Support estimation, solutioning, RFPs, client presentations, and technology roadmaps. Lead architecture reviews, proof of concepts, and technical risk assessments. Work closely with DevOps, QA, Data, and Integration teams to ensure successful program delivery.
