Global Shared Services Manager - Supply Chain Remote role Cleantech | Infrastructure | EnergyTech We're exclusively partnering with a fast-growing global cleantech and infrastructure organisation to hire a Global Shared Services Manager who can bring clarity, structure, and seamless coordination to a complex global operations environment. This is not a traditional operational management role. You won't be directly running Supply Chain, Contract Manufacturing, Logistics, Inventory, Fulfilment, or Installation teams. We're looking for someone with outstanding people skills, emotional intelligence, and the ability to influence without authority. You'll thrive in this role if you're naturally collaborative, enjoy building relationships, and can bring teams together to achieve shared goals. You'll be the person who spots bottlenecks before they become problems, removes friction between departments, and creates the structure that helps the wider organisation operate more effectively. Success in this role is less about command-and-control leadership and more about being an enabler, facilitator, and trusted partner to stakeholders across the business. If you're someone who enjoys autonomy, solving operational challenges, working with people, and making a visible impact on how an international organisation performs, this could be a fantastic opportunity. What You'll Own Lead and develop a globally distributed Shared Services team Manage work intake, prioritisation, resource planning, and service delivery Provide clear operational visibility across requests, actions, risks, and dependencies Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and ensure effective communication between teams Build strong relationships with stakeholders across Operations, acting as a trusted point of coordination Identify bottlenecks, process gaps, and inefficiencies, then work with teams to implement improvements Own operational reporting, dashboards, KPIs, and management updates Standardise processes, documentation, controls, and cross-training programmes Support automation initiatives, workflow optimisation, and improved use of ERP and CRM systems Coordinate strategic projects and initiatives that span multiple functions and geographies What You'll Bring 5-8 years' experience in Operations, Shared Services, Business Operations, Programme Management, or Supply Chain Previous experience leading teams within a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills Proven ability to influence and drive outcomes without direct authority Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously A collaborative, solutions-focused approach and a genuine desire to help others succeed Experience identifying operational challenges and implementing practical process improvements Confidence working with SOPs, workflows, KPIs, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives Strong analytical capability and experience using ERP and CRM platforms (NetSuite preferred) Exposure to Salesforce, Power BI, Smartsheet, workflow automation, and AI-enabled tools A proactive, accountable mindset with excellent attention to detail and follow-through Why This Role? This is an opportunity to sit at the heart of a global organisation and become the person who keeps everything connected. You'll work with leaders across multiple functions, influence how teams operate, and have a genuine impact on efficiency, communication, and business performance. If you're passionate about bringing people together, creating structure from complexity, and driving continuous improvement, we'd love to hear from you.
