This is a full-time temporary opportunity with the potential to transition into a permanent full-time role based on business needs and performance. The current contract will end December 31, 2026. ABOUT THE JOB This is an opportunity to help shape the future of the People function during a transformative period of growth. You'll partner closely with the Lead HRBP to bring strategic People initiatives to life, support managers and employees, and help build the programs, processes, and experiences that will scale with the business. This role will expand the capacity of our People team by owning day-to-day HR operations while helping execute strategic People initiatives. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role where you'll help build what's next. Your responsabilities: HR Operations & Compliance Manage the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, and employment changes. Prepare employment documentation, including contracts, amendments, employment verification letters, and other HR-related documents. Support HRIS administration and data maintenance. Coordinate onboarding compliance and annual required training. Help maintain HR documentation and operational processes. Project Execution & Program Delivery Partner with the Lead HRBP to execute People priorities and strategic projects. Build training materials, playbooks, and supporting documentation. Identify opportunities to improve processes through AI and automation. Manager & Employee Support Serve as the first point of contact for routine HR questions. Support managers with day-to-day People processes and employee inquiries. Escalate complex employee relations issues to the HR team. People Insights & Communications Prepare engagement and pulse survey reporting. Support manager communications and action planning. Assist with employee communications and program rollouts. Employee Experience Coordinate employee engagement initiatives, recognition activities, and social events. Provide administrative support for People programs as needed. Look for opportunities to improve the employee experience through better processes, communication, and program delivery. Experience with USA employment law, with global HR experience considered a strong plus! Move with urgency, follow through reliably, and take full ownership of outcomes Comfortable with Data, enjoy experimenting with AI and want to improve processes Proactive mindset and aren't afraid to roll up your sleeves to get things done Exceptional communication skills including effective listening, written communication and presentation Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. A collaborative mindset with a passion for creating an exceptional employee experience. Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across diverse global time zones and maintain operational consistency. Experience in start ups or fast pace working environments Canadian payroll experience is a plus!
