Translate business requirements into application design specifications, assist with system configuration scope and objectives, and help create and refine designs for new functionality. Support development teams and collaborate with business analysts and project teams to communicate technical alternatives, integration decisions, issues, and plans.

Skills Required: • 5 + Years’ experience in Guidewire Policy Center and Guidewire Claims center as BSA • 8+ years of experience in the Property and Casualty Insurance Industry • Having a strong working knowledge of relational databases such as DB2, SQL server and ability to compose SQL queries • Ability to understand complex transactional processing standards required for premium allocation to support statistical and financial reporting • Translating business requirement into application design specs (may develop pseudo code) • Assisting with formulating and defining systems (system configuration) scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with a basic understanding of business systems and industry requirements • Assisting with creation & refinement of design (mockup) on new functionality • Supporting the development team • Working with BA & Project Team to develop & present/communicate technical concept alternatives, integration decisions, issues, plans • Knowledge of SDLC Methodologies. Working experience in Agile methodology.

Requirements

Requires at least five years of experience as a business systems analyst with Guidewire PolicyCenter and ClaimCenter, and at least eight years in the Property and Casualty insurance industry. Candidates should have relational database and SQL skills, understand premium allocation and reporting processes, and have experience with SDLC methodologies and Agile.
