Role: Solution Engineer with (GitHub Actions) or Platform Engineer with AI Location: Halifax, NS (4 Days hybrid) Fulltime Job Description: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Diploma in IT with equivalent experience Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines Experience creating and debugging pipeline stages Strong understanding of build systems and project types (Maven, NPM, PyPi, .NET, MSBuild) Ability to write POM and Settings files from scratch GitHub Actions workflows, execution, and runners Experience with tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitOps, Artifactory, SonarQube, Terraform, UCD, Ansible Jenkins pipelines (Declarative, Multibranch, Maven pipelines) Troubleshooting Jenkins failures and configuration issues SonarQube configuration and usage CD tools like Terraform, UCD Ansible for configuration and deployment Docker and containerization (Dockerfiles, commands) Kubernetes (clusters, namespaces, PV/PVC, Helm charts, kubectl deployments) Troubleshooting Kubernetes issues (pods, logs, nodes, events) Nice-to-have: CI/CD experience with NPM or NuGet Groovy pipeline scripting Strong communication skills Agile tools (JIRA, ServiceNow) Scripting experience (Groovy, Shell, Python)
