Job summary
The BC Perio Dental Health & Implant Centre in Vancouver is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Certified Dental Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis. We are a well-established Periodontal & Prosthodontic office on the Broadway corridor that is very close to transit (Broadway City Hall Station less that 10 min walking distance). What we are looking for in our ideal candidate: * A positive attitude and a love for working with patients * Strong CDA Skills (Experience and Certification are a must!) * Team Player who thrives in a collaborative environment * Detail-Oriented and committed to precision and care Success factors in the role: * Assist the doctors chair side for surgical and prosthetic procedures * Seat and prepare patients for appointments, such as new patient exams, non-surgical and surgical treatments, and follow-ups * Provide oral hygiene instruction and post-operative instructions to patients and escorts * Conduct post-op appointments, including suture and dressing removal * Take dental radiographs and CBCT * Proficient with digital impressions (Trios and Prime Scan) * Sterilization of instruments and equipment * Maintain professional rapport with team members, patients, and referring doctors and their teams * Maintain complete and accurate clinical records, including preparing treatment plans and consent forms * Acquire dental photographs, intra and extra-oral radiographs * Coordinate with the team to ensure smooth patient flow * Our ideal candidate will be well-organized, caring to patients and others as well as a team player.
