Role Description This full-time, on-site Automotive Technician role is based in Red Deer , AB. The Automotive Technician will perform routine vehicle maintenance, including inspections, oil changes, tire installation, rotation, and balancing. Day-to-day responsibilities include diagnosing mechanical issues, completing automotive repairs, and supporting suspension and alignment work to ensure safe vehicle operation. The role also involves maintaining clean and organized workspaces, accurately documenting services, and communicating clearly with service advisors and customers. The Automotive Technician will follow all safety procedures and company standards while working with modern diagnostic and repair equipment. Qualifications Candidates should possess skills in Vehicle Maintenance, Maintenance & Repair, and Automotive Repair. Candidates should possess skills in Oil Changes and routine service procedures. Candidates should possess skills in Suspension work and related alignment support. Relevant technical training or certification in automotive service (trade school, apprenticeship, or equivalent experience). Familiarity with diagnostic tools, repair manuals, and modern shop equipment. Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work in a fast-paced shop environment, manage time effectively, and collaborate with team members. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with tire services or commercial vehicles is an asset.
