The OpportunityWe're looking for curious, motivated Student Software Developers in their 3rd or 4th year to join us for Spring 2027 for a 4 month or 8 month term. You’ll contribute to real features used by real customers while learning from experienced developers who care about mentoring the next generation of tech talent. What You’ll Be Doing Collaborate with experienced developers and product experts to build software solutions for the energy industry Write code across the full stack from front-end interfaces to database design Create and and maintain AbaData features and functionality Participate in code reviews, stand-ups, and get hands-on mentorship from senior developers Test, troubleshoot, and debug software to a high bar of performance and reliability Who we are looking for 3rd or 4th year Computer Science or Engineering student Familiarity with with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JS frameworks (e.g. React, Dojo) Exposure to back-end development (e.g., C#/.NET, Node.js) Experience with MS SQL Server or relationship databases is an asset Excellent communication and teamwork skills Curiosity, eagerness to learn, and attention to detail Bonus points if you have Personal or school projects you’re proud of (GitHub links welcome) Interest in geospatial data, mobile-first applications, or applied analytics What's In It For You A full-time paid hourly student internship for either a 4-month or 8-month term starting May 2027 Join a dynamic team at the forefront of innovation in software in the energy industry Mentorship and learning opportunities with a supportive, experienced development team that’s solving real-world problems Work on AI-enabled products solving complex, real-world problems A fun and collaborative culture including Slurpee Thursdays, Summer BBQ, and other team events

Requirements
