Duties and Responsibilities: The key job functions are: Bookkeeping & Accounting Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and day-to-day bookkeeping activities Process payroll using ADP Workforce Now Prepare/file GST/HST returns Maintain accurate financial records and handle confidential information with discretion Sales Administration Monitor the sales inbox and respond to customer quote requests and basic product inquiries Enter and process customer purchase orders while providing general administrative support Purchasing & Logistics Communicate with vendors to request quotes, confirm pricing and quantities, and place purchase orders Coordinate inbound shipments, including scheduling deliveries, providing shipping instructions/accounts, and following up on deliveries Education: Post secondary education is considered an asset. Qualifications: Ability to work fully on-site. Clean criminal record check required. Credit check required. Experience: 3+ years experience in a bookkeeping or full-cycle accounting role is required. Experience using QuickBooks Desktop is required. Experience processing payroll; ADP Workforce Now experience is considered an asset. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel. Skills: Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Strong written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of responsibilities Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism. Base Salary: $60,000 – 65,000 per year Salary based on experience. HSA provided. 3 weeks vacation, plus an additional week during winter holidays. Eligibility for profit-sharing program. Work Hours: Monday to Friday. Start times are flexible between 7:00am and 9:00am, with the corresponding end time between 3:00pm and 5:00pm. Additional Notes: This opportunity does not include relocation. It will be the responsibility of the candidate should relocation be required.
