Position Overview Our client, a leading national law firm, is seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Law Clerk This is an excellent opportunity for a polished and highly detail-oriented law clerk who is comfortable managing sophisticated commercial real estate transactions with a high degree of independence. The successful candidate will work closely with lawyers, clients and other legal professionals on purchase and sale transactions, financings, development matters, due diligence and closings. Key Responsibilities Support lawyers on commercial real estate purchase, sale and financing transactions. Conduct and review title and off-title searches and related due diligence. Prepare and register documents through electronic land registration systems. Draft requisitions, closing documents, transaction books and final reports. Assist with commercial acquisitions, dispositions, financings and development transactions. Liaise with clients, lenders, land registry offices and other stakeholders. Review and assist with resolving title, registration and procedural issues. Manage multiple transactions and deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Maintain organized electronic files and support matter and data management. Provide professional and responsive client service throughout the transaction lifecycle. Qualifications 7+ years of Commercial Real Estate Law Clerk experience preferred; candidates with strong comparable experience will also be considered. Law Clerk Diploma, ILCO Certificate or equivalent education. Strong knowledge of Teraview, Land Titles, Registry and electronic registration systems. Experience with title and off-title searches, due diligence and closing documentation. Experience with commercial purchase and sale and financing transactions. Strong Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel skills. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision. Strong organizational, communication and problem-solving skills. Professional, polished and collaborative working style. Ability to adapt to evolving technology, systems and processes. French language skills are considered an asset.
