Job Description You've Never Been Satisfied with “Good Enough.” You didn't get into this to manage one piece of a project. You got into it to change how the world gets built. At Accenture Construct, that's the job. You'll help deliver the data centers, power grids, rail networks, factories and public infrastructure that keep communities moving - smarter, safer and more sustainably. You'll work alongside people who think big and act bold: project managers, engineers, technologists and strategists who pair real-world delivery with AI. And you won't be handed a slice of it. We take on whole programs, from early strategy through construction and handover, and we stand behind how they land. Because “good enough” builds the past. You're here to build what's next • (Internal Title: CAD III) • Develop, configure, and maintain GIS solutions using ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Pro, and related ESRI technologies. • Develop web maps, dashboards, Experience Builder applications, Survey123 forms, Field Maps solutions, and other GIS products. • Design and maintain automated spatial-data workflows using FME, Python/ArcPy, SQL, ModelBuilder, and APIs. • Integrate data from multiple sources including GIS, CAD, BIM, survey, field systems, spreadsheets, databases, and enterprise applications. • Build and maintain spatial data models, feature classes, enterprise geodatabases, and related schemas. • Perform spatial analysis, geoprocessing, data transformation, and visualization to support project-delivery requirements. • Conduct GIS QA/QC, including validation of geometry, attributes, coordinate systems, topology, spatial relationships, and metadata. • Support the onboarding, standardization, and governance of new geospatial datasets. • Work with business and project stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into GIS solutions. • Support GIS integration with reporting and analytics platforms, including Power BI where appropriate. • Develop reusable GIS workflows and automation to reduce manual processing and improve data reliability. • Produce technical documentation, data dictionaries, workflow documentation, and user guidance. • Troubleshoot GIS application, data, integration, and publishing issues. • Support GIS training and knowledge transfer to project teams and junior resources. • Work collaboratively with GIS Managers, Technicians, engineers, project managers, data teams, and technology teams. • Working Conditions • Office-based • With all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders and communities. As an employer, we will be as flexible as possible to support your specific work/life needs Qualification • Post-secondary degree, diploma, certificate, or equivalent credential with a formal educational background in GIS, geomatics, geographic information science, or a program with a substantial GIS specialization. • 5-10 years of professional GIS experience. • Strong hands-on experience with ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, Experience Builder and/or ArcGIS Dashboards, FME, Python / ArcPy, SQL, enterprise geodatabases, spatial analysis, and geoprocessing. • Experience developing automated ETL or geoprocessing workflows. • Strong understanding of GIS data quality, projections, coordinate systems, topology, georeferencing, and metadata. • Experience integrating spatial and non-spatial datasets. • Ability to independently deliver GIS solutions from requirements through testing and deployment. • Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills. BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE: • Experience in rail, transit, infrastructure, construction, utilities, municipal, or engineering environments. • Experience integrating CAD, BIM, survey, or engineering information into GIS. • Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, Revit, or similar engineering tools. • Experience with Survey123, Field Maps, mobile data collection, or field workflows. • Experience with Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Power Platform, or enterprise data platforms. • Experience with linear referencing, infrastructure networks, corridor-based datasets, or asset management. • Experience working in a multidisciplinary capital-project environment. • PMP or similar project-management certification. • Previous experience working in a consulting or multi-stakeholder project-delivery environment. • Highly organized and detail oriented • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment • Superior time management skills; must be able to meet strict deadlines • Ability to think analytically, apply sound judgement, and solve problems • Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams • Ability to interact with all levels of management and staff • Able to demonstrate business acumen and communicate effectively across multiple levels, both internally and externally Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. It does not represent a maximum limit - in some cases, actual compensation may exceed the range where appropriate. Role Location Annual Salary Range Ontario $100,000 to $130,000 WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU • The biggest builds going. Hyperscale data centers, grid and generation, transit and rail, chip fabs, mines, water. If it's complex and it matters, it's on our list. • You own the outcome. Not a workstream. Not a deliverable. Whether the program lands. • AI that shows up on site. Program control that predicts instead of records. You'll use it, and you'll help shape it. • Scale without the distance. More than 5,000 practitioners across the Americas, EMEA and APAC, on a team small enough that people know your name. • Serious investment in you. Leadership development, technical upskilling and certification support. • Work that outlasts you. People will use what you build for forty years without knowing your name. That's the point. • Recognition that means something in this industry. Accenture Construct is ranked #6 globally in ENR's 2026 Top 50 Program Management Firms and #4 in Building Design + Construction's Top 80 Construction Management Firms for 2026. ABOUT ACCENTURE CONSTRUCT Accenture Construct is Accenture's global capital projects business. The data centers behind AI. The grid behind the energy transition. More than 5,000 practitioners across the Americas, EMEA and APAC. One team that owns the whole thing.
