Job Description Deli Attendant / Barista As a Deli Attendant / Barista, your warm, personal attention and knowledge of our outstanding Food & Beverage offerings makes guests to our Portobello outlet feel unique and valued. These are full-time, seasonal positions. We have roles beginning in October, November, and December 2026, and ending in April/May 2027. Starting Rate of Pay: $18.80 per hour We recognize tenure through our compensation - hourly rates increase after 6 months and then yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $23.45. Job Duties Include: Assist guests regarding menu items in an informative and helpful way with expert knowledge of all ingredients, etc. Maintain overall cleanliness and maintenance of deli, take-out window and seating area Responsible for making hot beverages and ensuring consistent quality is upheld Create specialty coffees Replenish bakery items as required in a timely manner Qualifications Previous barista and/or deli experience in a high volume environment is required Must hold a Serving it Right Certificate Previous point of sale system experience an asset, but not required Excellent communication and organizational skills Job Perks & Benefits: Subsidized staff accommodation provided Complimentary meal in our staff cafeteria per shift Access to our Employee Travel Program, with discounts on room rates and food & beverage at Fairmont & Accor properties worldwide Hotel leisure benefits including Golf/Ski passes Additional Information Visa Requirements: To progress with your application, you must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
