BRANCH MANAGER - PONOKA We are seeking a leader who enjoys building relationships within the community, supporting local initiatives, leading others and serving as a trusted insurance advisor to local individuals, families, and businesses. As our Branch Manager, you will lead the day-to-day operations of the branch while managing and growing your own portfolio of general insurance clients. This role combines leadership, business development, insurance expertise, and customer service to support the continued success of the branch, team, and clients we serve. Job Status Status: Full-Time Location: Ponoka, AB WHAT YOU’LL DO As a Broker Manage and grow a portfolio of personal and/or commercial insurance clients. Deliver expert insurance advice and exceptional client service throughout the client lifecycle. Build strong relationships with clients and insurer partners to secure effective coverage solutions. Identify opportunities for new business, client retention, and account growth. Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards. As Branch Manager Lead the branch in achieving business objectives related to growth, retention, client satisfaction, operational excellence, and employee engagement. Create an environment where team members are supported, accountable, and equipped to deliver exceptional results for clients. Ensure branch operations run effectively, efficiently, and in alignment with company standards and regulatory requirements. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Level 2 General Insurance License Demonstrated experience in personal and commercial lines, with a solid understanding of multiple industries and insurance classes. Additional certifications such as CIP are considered an asset. Ability to lead, coach, and develop team members while fostering a positive, collaborative, and accountable work environment. Strong customer service skills with a commitment to delivering an exceptional client experience. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. Strong organizational skills with a high level of accountability and follow-through. Positive, adaptable mindset with the ability to embrace change Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn and navigate new systems and troubleshoot basic technical issues. Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with industry trends.
