Job Description TITLE: PRODUCTION OPERATOR – LARGE BENDERS (TUBE CELL) REF. NO.: FPO20260812 DEPARTMENT: FABRICATION (TUBE CELL) EFFECTIVE DATE: 2026.08.12 STATUS: Hourly – Bargaining Unit CLOSING DATE: 2026.08.17 SUMMARY: This position reports to the Supervisor of the department. The incumbent ensures the correct set up and operation of the Large Benders including the organization of tooling requirements to meet production demands within the Fabrication (Tube Cell) department. ROLE: Performs the set up and tear down of Large Benders including but not limited to the Large Pines, Horn, and Schwartz tube bending equipment in addition to existing bending equipment. Operates both large and small bending equipment to meet production demands. Conducts required quality checks to ensure product is in compliance and in specification Notifies the Lead Hand and/or Supervisor(s) of product defects or other serious occurrences Documents and records all necessary information/data as per work cards and other company requirements. Performs equipment operational checks and does intermediate troubleshooting Performs proper housekeeping, clean-up and 5 S requirements Performs all duties according to safety standards and company policies Any other responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time DESIRED SKILLS: Good mathematical skills Manual dexterity – ability to use common tools Good interpersonal and communicative skills Robotics experience would be considered an asset REQUIREMENTS: Ability to meet prescribed production standards Experience & knowledge of tube bending equipment Experience with post-bending operations 2+ year(s) of experience in the Fabrication (Tube Cell) department with an excellent knowledge of all hazards, equipment, machinery, and processes within the Fabrication (Tube Cell) area. Knowledge of tube bending principles, practices, and known issues impacting the quality of bent tube for all material types. Knowledge of setup procedures and tooling requirements as they relate to tube bending. Knowledge of equipment maintenance requirements and general upkeep of the equipment. Ability to create and adjust program parameters. Ability to perform routine work handling weights up to 20lbs. Ability to complete work with a high degree of accuracy Written and oral aptitude in English Min. grade 12 or equivalent education Conscientious and punctual Strong desire and willingness to learn VACANCIES: 1 Day Shift – 7:00am – 3:30pm RATE: $29.93 Subject to assessment of skills and qualifications by Active following a 60 working days probationary period Shifts may vary Shift Premium where applicable

Requirements
