POSITION: PRIMARY CARE PARAMEDIC Location: Inuvik, NT Contract length: 6 months Compensation: $450 per day Advanced Medical Solutions has an opportunity for a Primary Care Paramedic to join our Ground Ambulance Service in Inuvik, NT. What You Bring: * PCP Primary Care Paramedic * HCP CPR Provider or BLS * WHMIS * Class 4 Driver’s License - (Must have) * Drivers Abstract – in good standing * Current Vulnerable Sector Check (within 90 days) * Current Medical & Immunization Records * Emergency Vehicle Operator certification or equivalent preferred Your Responsibilities: * Working as part of a team (with EMRs) to provide the highest and most effective patient care possible during all phases of the ground transport process and practices * Assess the extent of injuries or illness of patients to determine emergency medical treatment required * Responsible for the safe ambulance operations and transport of patients from remote areas to the Inuvik Regional Hospital * Document and record nature of injuries and treatment provided * Cleaning and maintenance of medical equipment, ambulance, base, and resupply of consumable equipment Watch more about AMS YouTube Channel [https://youtu.be/q9WspfMT7LE?si=JegsNU9v-CF3HQjP] Apply today and become a vital part of a mission-focused, life-saving team that thrives in the most remote and rewarding environments.
