Job summary

About us AEC CanAm is the cross-border wholesale division of Auto Export Corporation, a Canadian company with 30+ years in international automotive distribution. We source competitively priced pre-owned vehicles in Canada and sell them wholesale to dealer partners across the US. What you will do Prospect, develop, and manage a portfolio of US-based franchised and independent dealer accounts Sell Canadian-sourced pre-owned vehicles wholesale to US dealers by phone, email, video, and in-person visits Match available inventory to each dealer's needs and buying patterns Negotiate pricing and close volume deals that meet margin targets Onboard new US dealer accounts to expand the buyer network Track US wholesale pricing and CAD/USD movements to keep quotes competitive and profitable Read this first This is a business-to-business wholesale role rather than a retail showroom role. Day to day, you will sell Canadian-sourced pre-owned vehicles to US dealers and grow a book of US dealer accounts, rather than sell to walk-in retail customers. If most of your experience is in showroom retail sales or F&I, this role works a little differently from what you may be used to, and that is worth knowing before you apply. Important: This role requires regular travel to the US. You must be legally eligible to enter the US. What we are looking for 2 to 3+ years in automotive wholesale, dealer-to-dealer trading, or used vehicle wholesale (retail showroom sales on its own does not meet this) Proven B2B dealer relationship building Strong grasp of used vehicle valuation and wholesale pricing Able to travel to the US and legally eligible to enter for business Valid Ontario driver's licence Nice to have: an existing US dealer network, cross-border trade experience, OMVIC, auction platform knowledge (ADESA, Manheim, OVE/OPENLANE, TradeRev), knowledge of valuation tools (Canadian Black Book, AccuTrade, vAuto, MMR) What we offer $70,000 to $120,000 expected annual earnings (consisting of base salary $35,000 - $45,000 plus performance commission) The salary is realistic and a good starting point but is by no means what our top sellers earn. Vehicle allowance or company car Extended health and dental benefits Room to grow in an expanding cross-border operation To apply, send your resume and a short note to [email protected] .
