Job Description Aecom Mississauga is looking for an Active Traffic Management System/ Intelligent Transportation System Quality Assurance Inspector. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. • Responsible for setting own project deadlines. • Provides on the job training to new employees. • Responsible for monitoring conformance to quality, performance, specifications, and/or code requirements by performing inspection duties. • Performs daily field inspections and maintains inspection records. • Participates in punch lists, testing, and commissioning. • Tracks quality assurance progress. • Provides input to documentation for area and equipment turnovers. Qualifications Minimum Requirements : Highschool + 8 years of relevant experience in highway/ roadway construction or Technical Diploma + 6 YORE Construction and Maintenance Electrification Certification or eligibility for Certification in Ontario (309A) or Electronic Technician Diploma or Electronic Technologist Diploma. OACETT Registration as Road Construction Senior Inspector or eligibility as Road Construction Contract Administrator (RCCA) required. Valid G Driving License and access to personal vehicle Minimum two (2) MTO/BCMOTI or Municipal projects Preferred Qualifications : Ideally 12+ years of relevant experience in general highway construction experience Significant experience with various ATMS/ITS software and roadside hardware Ability to prioritize, multi-task and manage staff during parallel daytime and nighttime shifts.
