Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Embedded Systems Developer in the Hydraulics Manufacturing Sector in Guelph, Ontario. Our hydraulics client is seeking an Embedded Systems Developer to develop, program, test, and commission advanced control systems for mobile and industrial equipment. This hands-on role combines software development, controls engineering, and system design, supporting innovative hydraulic, electrical, and automation solutions. A typical day: Design and develop software for mobile and industrial control systems. Program and maintain HMI displays for machines and radio remote applications. Analyze, code, test, maintain, and document PLC and control system programs. Create electrical schematics, logical diagrams, and wiring harness documentation. Support mechanical designers with controls system expertise. Integrate sensors, transducers, and electronic controls into new and existing equipment. Troubleshoot prototypes, manufacturing issues, and field-related problems. Collaborate with clients, vendors, and suppliers on project requirements and new technologies. Successful candidates will have: Degree or Diploma in Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering, Controls, Mechatronics, or related field. Experience with CODESYS, QT, HGP, J1939, CANOpen, DeviceNet, Profinet, PROFIBUS, or similar platforms. Knowledge of software development lifecycles and code revision practices. Strong hands-on technical skills and mechanical aptitude. Experience with AC/DC electrical systems, controls, and schematic development. Experience with fluid dynamics, hydraulic systems, and system design. Knowledge of PID loop programming and tuning. Familiarity with mobile equipment, diesel-powered systems, and OEM environments is considered an asset. Total rewards: $85000.00 - $110000.00 annually RRSP matching program.
