Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Pharmacy Assistant in the retail space in Calgary, Alberta. Total Rewards $20.00 hourly Month-to-month contract through year-end Consistent daytime schedule with no evenings or weekends Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Opportunity to gain valuable experience in a professional pharmacy setting Hands-on exposure to prescription processing and pharmacy operations Convenient contract opportunity with an immediate start available Potential to expand your knowledge of pharmacy software and insurance billing processes A Typical Day Review incoming prescriptions for completeness and accuracy Enter, prepare, and process prescriptions in accordance with pharmacy procedures Process and troubleshoot third-party insurance claims Maintain accurate patient and prescription records Assist with pharmacy inventory management, including ordering and restocking medications and supplies Order, receive, and maintain pharmacy inventory levels Monitor inventory and assist with stock replenishment activities Maintain accurate records while adhering to pharmacy policies and procedures Successful Candidates Will Have Minimum 3 months of Pharmacy Assistant experience Understanding of prescription processing and pharmacy workflows Knowledge of third-party insurance claim processing Experience entering and maintaining data in pharmacy systems Experience with HealthWatch pharmacy software is preferred Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling prescriptions Excellent customer service and communication skills This posting is for an active opening. Requirements

Candidates need at least three months of Pharmacy Assistant experience and an understanding of prescription processing, pharmacy workflows, and third-party insurance claims. Experience with pharmacy systems is required, HealthWatch experience is preferred, and candidates should be accurate, organized, able to manage competing priorities, and strong in customer service and communication.
