The Sudbury team is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with experience supporting underground mining projects. Total rewards: $115000.00 - $165000.00 annually Build a Rewarding Long-Term Career Work with one of Canada's Top 3 Engineering Firms Pension Bonus Program A typical day: Lead and mentor a team of Electrical Engineers, Designers, and CAD professionals in the successful delivery of mining and mineral processing projects. Provide technical leadership, guidance, and support to electrical project teams and junior staff. Prepare, review, and approve engineering calculations, designs, and technical deliverables. Develop electrical equipment specifications and detailed design, procurement, construction, and installation documents. Review vendor drawings and technical data to ensure compliance with project specifications and requirements. Prepare conceptual designs, engineering studies, technical reports, and project proposals. Collaborate with project teams and client representatives to ensure effective communication and project execution. Monitor project performance, report on project metrics, and support site visits and project-related activities as required. Successful candidates will have: Electrical Engineer with 12+ years of relevant experience – preferably in an EPCM environment for industrial projects Underground mining project experience is required Engineering degree and registered as a Professional Engineer with the P.E.O or another Canadian Professional Engineering Association Strong communication skills - oral and written Knowledge of industry, regulatory codes and standards Proficient with the following electrical design tools and software: SPEL, ETAP, SKM, EasyPower and ASPEN Demonstrated ability to work effectively within multi disciplinary teams
