Your Next Challenge Reporting to the Underground Mine Supervisor, and you will be part of the Mine Department. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment. Operate conventional bolting equipment to install ground support in underground headings; Identify unsafe conditions and take corrective action; Perform pre-operational inspections and operate equipment safely and efficiently; Install and repair services in underground headings; Read and follow engineering prints, survey lines, and breakthrough warnings. Measure and document workplace data as required; Communicate work progress, hazards, and equipment status to the supervisor; Attend and participate in crew safety meetings and support approved safety programs; Obtain and prepare materials and tools required for the shift and communicate needs for the oncoming shift; Perform minor equipment repairs and assist with maintenance as needed; Comply with all blasting procedures and safety protocols; Perform other duties as assigned to support underground operations. What You Need To Succeed High School Diploma or equivalent; Holds required modules listed in sub-category of Underground Mining Classification Guideline; 7 years of underground mining experience; 2 years of experience operating conventional bolting equipmen (jackleg, stoper). Your Work Schedule Schedule: 7/7 schedule at our Macassa Mine in Kirkland Lake, ON.

Requirements
Requires a High School Diploma and 7 years of underground mining experience, including 2 years operating conventional bolting equipment. Must hold required modules from the Underground Mining Classification Guideline.
