Role Overview: Brokerage Operations Coordinator | Mortgage Industry | BC/AB Full-time, in-person role supporting billing, compliance, and commission operations for a growing mortgage brokerage. Ideal for someone with 1-3 years in mortgage or financial operations who wants to grow into a bigger operations/compliance role. Key Responsibilities: Billing & Payments Manage monthly brokerage billing (fees, lender payouts, etc.) Reconcile accounts and track outstanding payments Coordinate with brokers on payment-related inquiries Compliance Ensure adherence to provincial regulations (BCFSA, RECA, FSRA as applicable) Maintain broker licensing records and documentation Support audits and internal compliance checks Commission & Payout Management Calculate and process broker commissions Handle commission splits, payouts, and reconciliation Liaise with accounting/bookkeeping Process Improvement & Automation Identify inefficiencies and improve workflows Help implement automation using CRM tools (Velocity, Zoho, etc.) Standardize SOPs for onboarding, compliance, and submissions. Recruitment Support Assist in screening and onboarding new brokers Coordinate interviews and documentation Support growth initiatives of the brokerage Marketing & Broker Engagement Coordinate internal communications (updates, announcements) Support broker events, masterminds, and training sessions Help maintain engagement across the brokerage Must-have: Minimum 1 year experience specifically in mortgage, lending, or financial services administration (not just general admin) Experience with commission or payout calculations Comfortable working with compliance/regulatory documentation Nice-to-have (asset only): CRM experience (Velocity, Filogix, Zoho) Familiarity with BCFSA/RECA/FSRA specifically What We Offer: Growth opportunity within a scaling brokerage Exposure to operations, compliance, and business strategy Supportive and fast-paced team environment Competitive compensation (based on experience) Job Type: Full-time Benefits: Dental care Extended health care On-site parking Pay: CA$55,000.00 - CA$80,000.00 per year
