Airways Rentals, Leasing and Sales first opened its doors in 1963 as “Airways Rent a Car of Western Canada”, supplying rentals at our first location at the Edmonton Municipal Airport. Rentals nearly half a century ago were much different than they are today. Back then, the vehicles weren’t equipped with air conditioning or electric windows, and the office had typewriters, rotary telephones, and carbon paper duplicates.
