Position: Junior Identity Access Management Consultant Duration: 6 Months assignment (contract) Client Location: Toronto (Onsite: 7.25 hours/day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday) Engagement Model: Professional Services Engagement – B2B (Incorporated Entities Only) Note on Assignment Type This position is provisionally Onsite, requiring 7.25 hours per calendar day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (excluding breaks). Conditions may change based on organizational requirements and at the discretion of the Hiring Manager. About the Engagement Akkodis is seeking a Junior Identity Access Management Consultant to support the ongoing sustainment, modernization, integration, and operational support of large-scale Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) environments. The successful candidate will bring extensive experience supporting enterprise-grade IAM platforms, PKI technologies, authentication and encryption services, infrastructure components, and mission-critical applications serving large user populations. Scope • Support enterprise PKI and Identity Access Management environments across development, testing, Pre-Production, and production environments. • Participate in modernization initiatives, including platform upgrades, cloud migration activities, directory service modernization, and infrastructure improvements. • Provide operational support, monitoring, maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance tuning for IAM and PKI platforms. • Support implementation and maintenance of disaster recovery capabilities and operational recovery procedures. Assignment Deliverables • Identity and Access Management support documentation and operational procedures. • PKI system upgrades, maintenance plans, and modernization deliverables. • Disaster Recovery documentation, testing results, and operational procedures. • System monitoring, alerting, and management frameworks. Expertise Required Must Have: • 10+ years’ experience sustaining (e.g., administration, operations, support, patching, monitoring, starting/stopping) COTS based identity and access management systems. At least 4 years’ experience must be related to implementations with over 10,000 registered users. • 10+ years’ experience designing, developing, deploying, and sustaining large application implementations based on the following technology products: Entrust PKI Suite, Oracle Identity Manager (OIM), LDAP Tools (such as Atos Dir.X, Apache Dir Studio/CLI Commands), Windows Internet Information Server (IIS), Apache HTTPD/IBM Web Server/NGINX, Oracle Web Logic, SQL, Oracle database 11g (and later), Solaris, Windows, AIX and Linux. • Experience with ITIL processes such as Service Level Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Release Management, and Capacity Management. Nice to Have: • Experience with Oracle Unified Directory (OUD). • Experience developing operational automation solutions and monitoring frameworks. • Experience supporting highly regulated and security-sensitive environments.
