Your Opportunity: The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) works in a dynamic, multidisciplinary, multi-modality environment. The LPN monitors, plans, implements and evaluates care of patients/clients and works in consultation with Physicians, RN, Technologists and others to meet the needs of more complex patients/clients. The LPN works collaboratively with all members of the multidisciplinary team, to monitor the patient’s conditions and care while in the Diagnostic Imaging Department. LPN’s complete care within their scope of practice, in accordance with Alberta Health Services policy, the Health Professions Act and the License Practical Nurses Profession Regulation. This rotation will consist of Monday to Friday 0900-1715. Description: As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you are part of an interprofessional health care team, utilizing nursing processes, critical thinking, problem solving, and decision making skills. You will be guided by your education, experience, and demonstrated skill level, in alignment with applicable legislation, standards of practice, policies, and procedures. You will play a key role in providing safe, high quality, patient and family centred care while reflecting the shared vision and values of the organization. Classification: Licensed Practical Nurse Union: AUPE AUX Unit and Program: DI Interventional/Angio Study Primary Location: Foothills Medical Centre Location Details: As Per Location Multi-Site: Not Applicable FTE: 1.00 Posting End Date: 24-AUG-2026 Temporary Employee Class: Temp F/T Benefits Date Available: 21-SEP-2026 Temporary End Date: 18-OCT-2027 Hours per Shift: 7.75 Length of Shift in weeks: 12 Shifts per cycle: 60 Shift Pattern: Days Days Off: As Per Rotation Minimum Salary: $33.16 Maximum Salary: $43.42 Vehicle Requirement: Not Applicable Required Qualifications: Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and a practice permit as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta (CLHA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP). Additional Required Qualifications: Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP). Requirements

Requires completion of an accredited practical nurse program and active registration with the College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta. Candidates must have BCLS-HCP certification, IV and Port certifications, and 5 years of Med/Surgical unit experience.
