Your Opportunity: Camrose Home Care is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse for its Home Care team. Reporting to the Care Manager, Camrose Home Care, you are part of an interdisciplinary team working within the client’s residential environment to provide assessments and direct care as well as support the emotional wellbeing and provide comfort to the client. Utilizing your experience in wound care, palliative care and client teaching you will take a collaborative approach to meeting health goals, contribute to the nursing diagnosis and participate in nursing interventions and outcomes. You will provide safe, quality client and family centered care while reflecting the shared vision and values of AHS. Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP). Home Care Connect Care Preferred. Basic Cardiac Life Support – Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP). Driver's Abstract to be completed by AHS with no GDL restrictions and access to a motor vehicle in good repair for work-related travel. Preferred Qualifications: Minimum of one year Home Care experience. Minimum of one year Acute Care experience. Experience with wound care, palliative care and client teaching.

Requirements
Applicants must complete an accredited practical nursing education program, hold or be eligible for an Alberta LPN practice permit, and have current Basic Cardiac Life Support for Health Care Providers certification. A valid driver's abstract without graduated licensing restrictions and access to a well-maintained vehicle are required; home care experience, acute care experience, and experience in wound care, palliative care, and client teaching are preferred.
