Chumir Health Centre is a busy urban urgent care site where Diagnostic Imaging is integral to patient flow and clinical decision-making. You will be supported through orientation and ongoing development to ensure success in both modalities, with a strong focus on teamwork, safety, and continuous Description: As a Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT) I, you will perform a variety of standard technical radiological imaging examinations on patients for the purpose of disease and pathology diagnosis. You will interpret physician requisitions, prepare and assess patients for examination and produce high quality diagnostic images for Physician/Radiologist review, and assist with the care and maintenance of equipment. Your work may include a variety of procedures such as general and portable radiography, mobile and surgical suite examinations, as well as fluoroscopy where required. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technologists (ACMDTT). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Healthcare Provider (BCLS-HCP). Additional Required Qualifications: Demonstrated competency in general radiography. CT competency or willingness to obtain within an established timeframe. Proven ability to work effectively both independently and within a multidisciplinary team. Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills. Ability to adapt to a high-volume, fast-paced clinical environment. Preferred Qualifications: Recent experience in both X-ray and CT. Experience in urgent care or acute care environments. Familiarity with PACS, RIS, and Connect Care. Demonstrated flexibility and a commitment to cross-modality practice. Completion of CT Imaging Certification (CTIC).

Perform standard technical radiological imaging examinations, including general radiography and CT, to assist in disease and pathology diagnosis. Prepare patients for examinations and produce high-quality diagnostic images for physician and radiologist review.

Requires a diploma from an accredited MRT program, BCLS-HCP certification, and registration with the ACMDTT. Candidates must demonstrate competency in general radiography and a willingness to obtain CT competency.
