Identity & Access Management (IAM) Analyst (AI Training) About The Role Identity is at the root of most modern security breaches — and AI systems need to understand why. We're looking for experienced IAM professionals to help train and evaluate cutting-edge AI models by analyzing real-world identity and access control scenarios. At Alignerr, we partner with the world's leading AI research labs to build smarter, safer AI. Your hands-on security expertise will directly shape how AI reasons about IAM risk, privilege escalation, and zero-trust architecture. Organization: Alignerr Type: Hourly Contract Location: Remote Commitment: 10–40 hours/week What You'll Do Analyze IAM, SSO, and access control scenarios to identify weaknesses and misconfigurations Classify permission issues, privilege escalation paths, and identity-related failure modes Review zero-trust models and evaluate access design decisions for correctness and risk Generate and validate realistic identity security scenarios used to train and benchmark AI systems Provide structured, expert feedback that helps AI reason more accurately about enterprise security Who You Are 2+ years of hands-on experience with IAM, SSO, or enterprise identity platforms Solid understanding of RBAC, least-privilege principles, and access review workflows Familiar with how identity failures occur and how attackers exploit them in real environments Detail-oriented and able to communicate technical concepts clearly in writing Self-motivated and comfortable working independently on task-based assignments Nice to Have Experience with platforms like Okta, Azure AD, Ping, or SailPoint Background in penetration testing, red teaming, or security architecture Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, or NIST Prior experience with AI, data labeling, or model evaluation workflows Why Join Us Work directly on frontier AI systems with top research labs Fully remote and flexible — work on your own schedule Freelance autonomy: choose your hours, work from anywhere Meaningful impact: your expertise helps build AI that understands security the right way Potential for ongoing work and contract extension

What you’ll do

Requirements

Applicants need at least two years of hands-on experience with IAM, SSO, or enterprise identity platforms, along with knowledge of RBAC, least privilege, and access reviews. They should understand identity-related security failures, communicate technical concepts clearly in writing, and be comfortable working independently.
