Job Title: Security Professional - Full Time Job Location: Waterloo, ON Pay Rate: $20.29 per hour Strong and flexible availability across all shifts, including mornings, afternoons, overnights, and weekends required. Overview: Allied Universal is currently hiring Security Professionals in Waterloo, ON to provide professional, front-line security services. This role is ideal for individuals with strong customer service skills, able to work night shifts, a professional demeanor, and willing to work with a dynamic team. Requirement: Familiarity with access control systems and alarm . Experience with report writing and note-taking. Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems. Valid Ontario security guard license Must be eligible to work in Canada for 40 hours per week. Valid First Aid and CPR certificate. Must be at least 18 years old. High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience Specific Duties Performed And Essential Functions : Monitor and control access to the site. Maintain a polished, professional, and customer-friendly presence at all times. Handle conflicts, incidents, and difficult situations using effective de-escalation skills. Conduct indoor and outdoor patrols while following site protocols and post orders, including monitoring customer and guest movement throughout the property. Ensure all safety and emergency procedures are followed during fire alarms and other site emergencies. Complete all site-specific training and follow guidance provided by the Site Supervisor or Manager. Demonstrate sound judgment, professionalism, and decision-making skills during emergencies and incidents. Maintain accurate records, complete incident reports, and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
