Job Title: Security Guard - Part-Time Position Job Location: Brantford , ON Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour Shifts: Saturdays & Sundays | 6:45 pm to 7:00 am | Night Shifts Requirement Familiarity with access control systems and alarm. Minimum 1 year of patrolling experience Experience with report writing and note-taking. Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Valid Ontario security guard license Must be eligible to work in Canada upto 24 hours per week. Valid First Aid and CPR - Level C Must be at least 18 years old. High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience Specific Duties Performed And Essential Functions Access control for the facility/area Present a polished, professional, customer friendly image at all times Ability to manage conflicts and incidents and to deescalate Patrolling and following protocols as per the post orders, which may include indoor or outdoor patrols, etc. Ensure that the facility’s safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to fire alarms and other site Emergencies Undertake site specific training, follow direction and guidance from Site Supervisor or Manager Demonstrate good judgment, common sense and decision-making ability, particularly when required to take charge and direct others in emergencies or other incidents Meticulous record keeping, report writing, observation skills excellent verbal and written communication skills Operate/monitor security room equipment including but not limited to computers, CCTV cameras, radio, etc. Perform in-car/vehicle patrols Benefits Opportunities for career growth and advancement.
