Position: Security Guard Location: Hamilton, ON Payrate: $20.10 per hour Status: Part-Time Shifts: Saturday 16:00 - 00:00 and Sunday 11:45 - 17:15. Overview: Allied Universal is seeking an experienced Security Professional to oversee one of our sites in Hamilton, ON. The ideal candidate is a seasoned individual with excellent communication skills, and able to work with a dynamic security team. If you have Security experience, enjoy patrolling, and can maintain a high level of professionalism, we'd like to hear from you. Requirements: Must have a valid Ontario Security License. Must have a valid work permit Valid First Aid and CPR is a must Must have a minimum of 6 months to 1 year security experience Valid Driver's Licence is an asset Deescalation experience and strong communication skills are crucial Proficiency in basic computer skills and wireless technology. Ability to stand for a long period of time. Excellent written and oral communication Must be eligible to work in Canada up to 24 hours a week. Must be at least 18 years old. High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, occasionally climb stairs, and lift or carry up to 40 pounds. Responsibilities Conduct regular patrols of the designated area to monitor and ensure the safety and security of the premises. Maintain detailed records of patrols, documenting incidents, irregularities, and any equipment malfunctions. Communicate effectively with residents, property management, contractors, and other property staff. Maintain a professional attitude towards training and security protocols, including emergency response and communications. Address and resolve complaints, ensuring total client satisfaction. Requirements
